About InviziPoll

InviziPoll is anonymous employee polling built so people can tell the truth at work. Every answer is encrypted in the employee's browser before it's sent, so our servers can't read it, and results appear only once enough people have answered that nobody can be singled out.

Why it exists

Most employee surveys called anonymous are really confidential. The vendor, and often HR, can still link an answer to the person who gave it, and employees know it. So they soften what they say, or skip the question, and leaders end up deciding on the safe version of the truth.

We built InviziPoll so anonymity is something employees can check rather than a promise they have to take on trust. Nobody, including us, can tell who said what. If you want the long version of that distinction, read confidential vs anonymous surveys.

What we hold ourselves to

  • Employee safety comes before admin convenience. When a feature would make results easier to slice but could expose one person, we leave it out. A breakdown too small to protect someone isn't shown at all.
  • Anonymity should be verifiable. The security hub and anonymity guarantees describe exactly what our servers hold, so a security reviewer can check our claims instead of believing them.
  • Say plainly what admins can see. Admins see totals and charts, and every written comment word for word, in a shuffled list with no name, time or order attached. Speak-up inboxes work differently: once the first reports are in, each new report appears on its own, so authorized admins read and reply to it individually. It still carries no name, account or IP address, and replies reach the reporter only through a return code that never reaches us.
  • No invented proof. We don't publish testimonials we wrote ourselves or star ratings we score ourselves. Buyer reviews live on independent directories.

What we chose not to collect

  • No name, account or device stored with an answer.
  • No timestamp or submission order stored with an answer, so nobody can line answers up against who was online when.
  • Respondent IP: never stored. Rate limiting keeps a one-day keyed hash, not the address.
  • No readable answers on our servers, and answers are never sent to an AI model.
  • No tracking or analytics on the pages employees answer on.

Who it's for

People and HR teams who need honest feedback, leaders who want to hear bad news early, and consultants who run surveys for clients. It's also for employees: the employee pages explain how to tell whether any survey, ours or not, can identify you.
