Is your survey actually anonymous?
Paste the survey you're about to send. In a few seconds you'll see which questions and settings could point to the person answering, and what to do about each.
Nothing you paste leaves this page.
0 / 20,000 characters. Paste only: there's no file upload, so there's nothing to leave behind.

Questions
Does the survey I paste get sent anywhere?
No. The check runs in your browser tab. The text isn't uploaded, isn't saved on your device and isn't kept in the link, and it's gone when you close the page. The page counts how many red and amber findings a scan produced, and nothing else.
What does the checker look for?
Questions that ask who someone is (a name, an email, an employee number), questions that sort people into small groups (team, location, tenure, age), free-text boxes that invite a story with names and dates in it, and the settings banners some survey tools print into the form, such as a form that records the name and email of everyone who answers.
If it finds nothing, is my survey anonymous?
Not necessarily, and the checker won't say so. A paste can't show how a survey tool is set up behind the scenes: whether it logs IP addresses, sends personal links or stores logins next to answers. Each tool gets a short list of settings to check yourself.
Which survey tools does it work with?
Anything you can copy the text of. It recognises the layout of Google Forms, Microsoft Forms, SurveyMonkey and Typeform and adds checks for the settings those tools use. Other tools work too, with the general checks.
Is the checker free?
Yes. There's no account and no limit. If you'd like to fix what it finds, you can import the same survey into InviziPoll and the same checks run on every question.
I'm answering a survey, not sending one. Is there a check for me?
Yes: the employee version is eight questions you can answer from the invitation alone, plus a note to send HR. You'll find it at /for-employees.
Fix it by importing it here
Import the survey you already have and InviziPoll applies protections to each of these: answers are encrypted in the browser, and results for small groups are held back. We don't keep what you pasted here. After you sign up, paste it again and we'll flag the same things on every question.
