What the tool should do for you
Signs you're answering on something built right
These are the things you can check from the ballot itself. InviziPoll does all of them. Any tool that claims anonymity should be able to show you the same.
The minimum group size is stated before you start
Nobody, including the person who sent the survey, sees any answer until at least 3 people have responded, and filtered cuts obey the same floor. If the number isn't on the page, ask for it.
You can watch the count go up by one
A response counter on the ballot lets you confirm your answer landed without anyone knowing it was yours. Proof of counting is not the same as proof of identity.
The answer is encrypted before it leaves your browser
The server only ever stores ciphertext, so there is no readable answer for an admin to open one at a time. Not a policy. A property of where the key lives.
A reply reaches you through a code, not a name
If you ask for a return code, it's made in your browser and never sent to us. It's the only way to read a reply to your comment, and it can't be traced back to you. Keep it somewhere private.
