Exports are per question, never a row per person, and there's no name or email to put in one. You see every chart and read written answers word for word, shuffled and undated. Anyone who'd rather not be read can send just the topics they pick instead. You can't see who answered, who didn't, or in what order.

Is Qualtrics anonymous?
Not by default. Qualtrics' employee experience product describes itself as confidential, with a default threshold of five for data and comments in dashboards, while the raw response data carries each participant's email. Its survey platform can collect anonymously with an anonymous link and Anonymize Responses, but that's configured per survey, and an anonymous link still records IP address and location unless Anonymize Responses is on. It can be done well; it depends on every owner doing it right.

The link type, that Anonymize Responses is on before anyone answers, whether directory fields or embedded data are appended, and who can open the raw data. If any of those is uncertain, tell people the survey is confidential rather than anonymous.

Send them /trust/anonymity, which says in plain language what we can and can't see, and link it from the invitation. When results are ready you can publish them as a signed summary anyone can check hasn't been edited. And before you send anything, open the sample poll in a new workspace: it takes about two minutes and shows you exactly what an admin sees, which is the same thing you'd be promising your team.

The consultant reads the results, written comments included.
