Demographic cohorts and minimum thresholds
Heads up — Demographics live inside the encrypted response. Filtered cohort views need at least 5 matching responses or the UI stays locked—the Anonymity Coach in the wizard explains this.
How it works
Polls can include demographic dimensions (like department or location) for later analysis. Demographic values are stored inside the encrypted response — they're only visible after decryption.
Admin analytics
After results unlock, admins can filter aggregates by demographic dimensions without seeing individual responses.
Minimum threshold
Cohort breakdowns require at least 5 matching decrypted responses. Below that, filters return a locked state with no exact counts or percentages.
The Anonymity Coach in the poll wizard explains that combining multiple filters reduces group size and may fall below the threshold — this is intentional protection against small-group deanonymization.
