Sharing your poll

After you publish, InviziPoll gives you a high-entropy poll link and QR code. Respondents do not need an account.

Distribution step (wizard)

On the Distribution step, you set participation guardrails:

• Minimum recipients (recommended before sharing) — numeric input with minimum 3; helper text Don't share with fewer than this many people.
• Maximum respondents (optional) — placeholder No limit; Poll auto-closes at this count. Leave empty for no limit.

Expand Advanced options for:

• Poll PIN (optional) — respondents must enter it to open the poll; Share it separately.
• Single-vote mode. Send magic links to recipients; each link allows one ballot.
• Show on respondent page — toggles for Min number of poll respondents, Max number of poll respondents, Current total number of poll respondents
• Allow public results. Create a shareable results link after 3+ responses.
  • Show results link at top of poll page
  • Require PIN to view results plus Results PIN (min 4 characters)

When public results are enabled, respondents may see Results available after 3+ responses.

Operational guidance

Treat poll URLs like capability links: anyone with the link can respond while the poll is open. Rotate or close the poll if a link leaks.
