Sharing your poll

After you publish, InviziPoll issues a high-entropy poll link and a QR code. Respondents need no account. Anyone with the open link can respond while the poll is open, so treat the URL like a capability: share it with the intended audience only.

Prerequisites

The poll is published (see Creating your first poll). Plan enough invitees to unlock results (3+ responses). Optionally decide on a PIN, respondent cap, or public results link.

1. Open the published pollin Polls, open the poll you just published and find the share controls (link + QR).
2. Copy the poll linkpaste into email, Slack, Teams, or an intranet page aimed at your intended audience.
3. Optional: download the QRuse posters, slides, or in-person sessions where scanning is easier than typing a URL.
4. Confirm distribution settings - review minimum recipients (floor of 3), optional maximum respondents, optional poll PIN, single-vote/magic-link mode, respondent-page totals toggles, and optional public results link after 3+ responses.
5. Remind people it is anonymoustell recipients they do not need an account and that organizers see aggregates, not named ballots.
6. Monitor participationsend a reminder before expiration if you still need responses to unlock results.

Respondent experience

They open the link, optionally enter a PIN, answer the questions, and submit. Answers are encrypted in the browser before they are sent. No app install is required.

FAQ

Do respondents need to sign in?
No. The poll link (plus any PIN you set) is enough.

What if too few people respond?
Results stay locked until the threshold is met. If the poll expires first, aggregates remain unavailable. Plan reminders and window length accordingly.

Can I share one link with the whole team?
Yes. That is the common path. Use magic links or PINs when you need tighter control.
