What happens when your trial ends
When the 14-day trial ends, your data stays. See what the free plan keeps, what needs a paid plan, and how live polls and drafts count toward the limit.

Nothing is deleted when a trial ends. Your polls, your responses and your keys are all still there; what changes is which actions the workspace can take.
New workspaces get a 14-day trial. If it ends without a paid subscription, the workspace moves to the free plan; this page is about what that actually feels like.

Decryption happens in your browser with your keys, and the end of a trial doesn't touch them.

In the poll builder this shows up as the email and Slack panels being paywalled while everything else, including the open link, the QR asset pack and publishing, works as before. Importing questions from an export file still works too, and so does pasting a form, which is then read in your browser rather than by AI.
Trying one of these gives you a clear upgrade prompt rather than a generic error. Open Subscription in the sidebar to upgrade; access returns as soon as checkout succeeds.
#Polls you already sent
A poll that's already live stays live and keeps collecting responses. Recipients who have a link can still respond, and the responses are still encrypted to your keys.
What you lose is the ability to send more invitations in bulk from that poll. If you need to reach more people while on the free plan, share the respondent link directly.

The one folder is the default folder every workspace needs to hold its polls.
The poll limit counts live polls: polls that haven't been closed and whose closing date hasn't passed. Drafts count too. Every poll, including a draft, has a closing date, and a draft counts until that date passes, so delete drafts you no longer need if you're at the limit. Closed and expired polls never count, and neither does the sample poll.
If your workspace has more than three live polls when the trial ends (say you ran 12 during the trial), nothing is deleted. You keep and can read all 12, and you can create a new one as soon as fewer than three are still live.
#Exempt workspaces
A small number of workspaces are marked exempt by our team, usually long-lived or grandfathered accounts. An exempt workspace has no trial end date and keeps paid-feature access. On the free plan it still has no AI poll authoring.
This is why two workspaces both showing "Free" can behave differently: most gates follow the workspace's entitlement, not the plan label. Subscription shows what applies to you.
