Inviting team members
Heads up — Invites and seat limits are managed from Admin → Users: Invite team member, pending invites, and the roles overview. You need a role that is allowed to invite; otherwise ask an owner to expand your access.
Where to click
Sidebar Admin → Users. Owners and admins see Invite team member opening the invite modal.
Roles you can assign
Invites can assign admin or member — you cannot create an owner via invite (ownership is transferred separately where supported).
- Owner (one per org, transferable): billing, Workspace settings, delete workspace, role changes, SSO/SCIM enterprise features where applicable.
- Admin: invite/remove members; cannot access owner-only billing and some workspace settings.
- Member: create and manage polls without team management, full workspace settings, or billing.
The Roles area hosts the Base Roles matrix (capabilities such as Invite Users, Change Roles, Manage 2FA Policies) and Custom Roles when enabled.
Seat limits (by plan tier)
Workspace quotas follow your subscription plan. Typical limits:
| Tier | Max admins (seats) | Max polls | Max folders | Max recipients / poll |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| free | 1 | 3 | 0 | 50 |
| pro | 5 | 10 | 50 | 1,000 |
| business | 25 | 500 | 200 | 5,000 |
| enterprise | 1,000 | unlimited* | unlimited* | 25,000 |
*On Enterprise, polls and folders show as unlimited in the product.
At the seat cap the UI disables invites with copy such as Seat limit reached. Please upgrade your plan to invite more team members.
Admin → Subscription and some workspace settings are visible to owners only; other roles do not see billing controls.
