Reusable Question Bank for Polls

The bank is managed under Settings → Workspace, in the Question bank section, by owners and admins. In the poll wizard, the Question bank button on the Questions step adds copies of bank entries to your poll, not live links.

The question bank is a workspace-wide library of reusable poll questions. Instead of retyping the same engagement, pulse or compliance questions in every poll, owners and admins save them once, and anyone building a poll can add copies from the bank in a couple of clicks; questions in the bank are copies, not references; when you add a bank question to a poll, it becomes an independent copy with its own identifier; editing the bank entry later doesn't affect polls that already used it, and editing a poll's copy doesn't change the bank entry; that keeps polls stable: once people have answered a question, it can't change out from under them.

#Who can use it

Browsing and adding bank questions happens in the poll wizard. Any workspace member who can create polls can open the picker, search, filter and add copies. You only see entries that belong to your workspace.

Creating, editing and deleting bank entries is limited to owners and admins, only under Settings → Workspace, and needs an active trial or a paid plan. Members don't see the management section there, even though they can use the picker.

#Adding and editing entries

Go to Settings → Workspace and open the Question bank section to add, edit or remove entries. Each entry has:

question text
a question type: single choice, multiple choice, or scale
the options, or the scale range and end labels
a category (optional), for organizing related questions, such as "Engagement" or "Onboarding"
tags (optional), for search and filtering in the picker

There's no control in the wizard to save a question you're writing into the bank; add it under Settings → Workspace instead.

#Keep entries within poll limits

The bank accepts longer entries than a poll does. When you add one to a poll, anything over the poll's limits is shortened to fit, and you'll see a warning so you can check the question before you publish. Write bank entries to fit these limits and nothing gets cut:

#Using bank questions in a poll

In the poll wizard's Questions step, click Question bank. A picker opens where you can search by question text, filter by category or tag, and tick one or more questions. Add selected appends them to the end of your poll with fresh identifiers.

Move them into position afterwards. If your poll uses branching rules, check them after moving questions: a rule can only jump forward, and the poll won't save or publish while one points backwards.

#Limits

The question bank doesn't have a hard item limit, and bank entries don't count against your poll or template quotas.

#Privacy note

Question bank entries are authoring content; the same kind of content as poll titles and questions, which we store readably so respondents can be shown them. The encryption that protects poll responses covers answers, not the questions being asked. Adding a question to the bank doesn't change that boundary.
